La Piaggio Vespa è un modello di scooter della Piaggio, brevettato il 23 aprile del 1946, su progetto di Corradino D'Ascanio.
La Vespa 125 ET3 Primavera nasce nel 1976 affiancando un modello già in produzione, la Vespa 125 Primavera. Da questa la ET3 si differenzia da un punto di vista tecnico grazie ad una nuova accensione elettronica gestita da centralina Ducati, non più a puntine platinate. Questo, oltre a garantire un pronto avviamento in ogni condizione, permette al motore di "girare" agli alti regimi con maggiore regolarità a tutto vantaggio delle prestazioni.
